The above arrows indicate how close the warehouse and oil company are to the tapered sloping edge. This needs to be removed and a larger section added.

The below left images show the cork removed and the new wider cork replacement.

Decided to go ahead and taper the cork edges before gluing them down. Liquid nail is used to glue this down.

     

All the new sections are now glued down. I now have more space on both ends for the warehouse and the oil company.
